TANKHEAD Model Kits at SDCC!
Our partners Bellfine recently had a booth at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, where they had on display the painted prototype of the Type 33 Heikegani, and finally unveiled the prototype of the 2nd TANKHEAD model kit: the TK-2A Tank Kong 2!
So awesome to see tankheads grace the front desk of the Bellfine booth, and the tankhead kits on the same shelf as the Blade Runner model kits!

We want to give a big thanks to our friends and the Bellfine crew who were able to snap up the photos of these kits for us as we were not able to make it out to San Diego Comic-Con ourselves. Maybe next year we’ll get to be there in person. We hope everyone’s as excited as we are to pick up these model kits!

Bellfine recently showed off the painted prototype of the TANKHEAD Type 33 Model Kit while teasing the next TANKHEAD model kit in production, all at the 64th Shizuoka Hobby Show
It’s been an exciting week as our model kit partner, Bellfine just showed off the painted prototype of the Type 33 Heikegani Model Kit at the Shizuoka Hobby Show!
Bellfine also teased the next tankhead that’s about to be turned into a model kit! Those who are familiar with the series might recognize that distinct silhouette. Can you guess which one it is?
On top of that, Dengeki Hobby, one of the biggest hobby magazines in Japan, recently did a featurette on TANKHEAD on their site. You can check out their article here.

We have partnered up with action figure and model kit maker Bellfine for this effort.
The model first kit in the series will be based on the Type 33 Heikegani Crab Tankhead of the Yamaichi Dominion, with the 3D-printed prototype being unveiled at the All Japan Model & Hobby Show of last year. (Photos below were taken from various toy news outlets)
